Dr Del Rio qualified as a dentist in 2004 in Portugal. She then successfully completed a 3-year Master’s degree in Implantology at Warwick University. She has been working as a general private dentist in the UK for over 10 years.
She is also an Invisalign provider (clear braces), and uses The Wand. Dr Del Rio enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is enthusiastic about promoting a preventative approach to dental care. She is particularly experienced in oral surgery, comprehensive oral rehabilitations, periodontology, minimally-invasive dentistry, aesthetics & teeth whitening as well as treating anxious patients and children.
She is highly motivated and likes to keep up to date with the latest developments in clinical dentistry and is passionate about delivering the highest level of patient care, with empathy and professionalism. She takes a patient-centred approach to her dentistry and her aim is to provide individual, tailored treatment to every patient in a relaxed and approachable manner. She also aims to build rapport with her patients to ensure they are involved in their treatment every step of the way, in addition to equipping them with the skills they need to achieve their treatment goals and maintain a healthy mouth.
She is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. She enjoys cycling and playing tennis in her free time.
